Fitment Notes for FXR Frames (1982-1987):
- Early Frames (1982–1987): The frame area where the struts mount may need trimming for proper fitment. These frames specifically require RP/RT struts.
- Later Frames: Compatible with RS or RP/RT struts, allowing flexibility based on your setup.

Shock Position:
- RP/RT struts offer a more upright shock position. If you have a later frame but prefer this positioning, RP/RT struts can be used.
Bag Compatibility:
- Factory-style clamshell or police bags will not work with RP/RT struts.
- Compatible options include Leather Pros bags and Convertible bags for a seamless fit.
If you are unsure about fitment or have questions, please email us at info@thecutrate.us
Please verify fitment before placing your order. Returns will be subject to our standard restocking fee of 15%.

I had an issue with fitment. Running sissy bar side plates and the struts causes some bolt binding. These guys reached out and handled it awesome. Even if it wasn’t their struts that was causing the issue they were ready to refund me or do an exchange. It’s really nice to see people standing behind their product. I’ll definitely be buying more from them. Thanks guys!
