FXR Fender Struts Fitment guide and style differences

Explore our guide to our Harley FXR fender struts, featuring fitment instructions and an in-depth look at three styles based on some of my favorite parts: Kimtab wheels and/or 90's ball mill relief designs usually featured on Arlen Ness components.

Type 1

Originally designed to mimic the Kimtab wheel fins.

Three ball mill reliefs

Type 2

Made to compliment Ness side covers or fairing.

Fitment

Early Frames (1982–1987): The frame area where the struts mount may need trimming for proper fitment. These frames specifically require RP/RT struts.
